"Raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens..."

Spencer

To answer Michelle's questions.
Q: How do I spend my days?
A: I still work at the Space Dynamic Lab for most of my morning. After eating lunch with Brenna, I attend my classes. I try to have dinner ready for Brenna when she gets home. For the evenings we split up the time with racquetball, Institute, and homework. If I can spare the time, I like to get in some recreational reading in.

Q: Where do I go shopping?
A: We have access to Targets either in Ogden or in Idaho Falls. I'm beginning to really like it there. For electronic stuff, we have a Best Buy. For clothes, I have developed an affinity for Kohl's. It's probably my first choice. For bookstores, we have some Mom and Pop stores and a Border's and Walden Books.

Q: What do I really really want?
A: Books: Julius Caesar by Shakespeare, My Name is Asher Lev by Chaim Potok, The Gift of Asher Lev by Chaim Potok, A Long Way Home by Ishmael Beah. I'm trying to find a great author or genre. I'm definitely open to trying new authors. The books don't have to be happy or have the hero win.
Movies: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Dumbo, Benny and Joon, To Kill a Mockingbird; The Shakiest Gun in the West, Sandlot, and The World's Fastest Indian.
Clothing Items: A Make-My-Own-Pair-Moccasins kit, Sheepskin slippers (the kind that go past the ankle), scarves, pajama bottoms (flannel or similar warm material and cooler knit material), dark no-show socks.
I am searching for a dazzling 8 oz. mug for my hot chocolate.

Q: What are some of my interests?
A: I still like Origami but have branched out to paper making. I still have a soft spot for Sudan. I would like a full size flag. I am taking on reading with new zeal. We do need an Ensign subscription. I have picked up hand massage but my back massages skills need some more instruction and honing. I enjoy my music time. Lately I have listened to Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, Weezer, Kaiser Chiefs, Jack Johnson, Tommy Emmanuel, and Dispatch.

I do have a new-in-original-packaging DVD of To Kill A Mocking Bird. I liked the book a lot so three years ago I was given the movie as a gift. Mike likes to mock me about the movie and use it as an example in church talks about how we use a gift tells how much we value it. I do intend to watch it some time.

Have you read The LIfe of Pi or Killer Angels? I think I debated on sending those last year as gifts.

Michelle, I haven't read the The Life of Pi or Killer Angels. However I think I remember you telling me about the latter. Fact is, Brenna actually has To Kill a Mockingbird and she says I can borrow it from her.
