All about me

Sorry it took me so long to post. I've been having a hard time deciding what to post. You may know that I've been reading a lot lately. I think I would like a nice book light so I don't wake up Grant with the hall light. (nathan got me one today! He's a mind reader!) A book would also be good but I unfortunately got the last three on my list from the library so I wouldn't be able to suggest any titles. I like lite science fiction and regular fiction, young adult books (newberry winners), travel/adventure non fiction, mystery... I like when I get hooked in to books and I feel like I can't put it down. Since I read little bits at a time, they can't be too complicated or heavy.

Enough about books, as you probably know I've been doing a lot of photography. I would love to have a remote for my camera. It is a Canon Rebel Xsi. I'm sure there is a good photography book out there too that would be worth reading. I liked those fingerless gloves Jaclyn put on her post. I was out shooting early and my hands were freezing.

What else? I always like Christmas ornaments and cook books. I like itunes. Actually, I would consider it a gift for me if someone would like to make or put together (thrift stores, craigslist) some dress-up clothes for my kids. I think my mom is planning to get Karen some princess dress up clothes so I'd like add some gender neutral options(cowboy, pirate, doctor, fireman/woman, etc) to the stock so Grant can dress up too, just in case he doesn't want to wear a Cinderella dress :). I don't really have the time to make anything and I couldn't find any in post-halloween sales.
If you're wondering about what to get our kids, they're pretty easy. Grant loves trains, cars, dinosaurs, blocks, etc. Typical stuff. Karen is into pretend play and loves to dress up. She spends most of her day in a tutu. She also likes dolls, puzzles (she does a 63 piece puzzle right now) Both of them like art projects, playdough, painting, stickers, and coloring. Grant is currently wearing a 2T and Karen a 5T.

Thanks in advance!

By the way, all are invited to California to visit anytime. We love to have guests.
