From Mom

Since Mom is having a hard time figuring out how to post on a blog, she asked me to do it for her. FYI, I deleted the email post she had because I didn't want the address being broadcast to the whole world of viewers. (This is a public blog, so don't write anything you wouldn't want a stranger to see).

Anyway. . .

Mom says she'd like current family pictures, framed or unframed is okay. "If the party finds a frame that they want their picture in then I am OK with that too. most are familiar with colors and style of the living room."

She also says "I don't know if size matters, I will take the pic that the party wants me to have. that could be the deciding factor for those paying for the pics. 5x7 or 8x10 . It might come to the issue of the more people, the bigger picture so all are visible. candid is good, doesn't have to be an expensive studio shot. Elisa offered to go around and take the pictures if I'd pay airfare!"

I asked about whether they were family pictures or individual pictures of kids and she didn't give me a response. And for the older pictures she says, "I will probably put them in an album. I have left them up for now because that is the only one I have of the person. not sure if I should sort by family or do the pics chronologically"

Michelle's note: I know there are many different album styles out there and ones that can easily accommodate 8 x 10 or even 11x13 prints so all the family portraits could be put in there. Was the old family pic (blue and white before my mission) that was on the wall a 11x13?

Should we be coordinating the size of pictures? Are you going to put them all together on the wall or around the room?

I think an 8x10 would be good for a family photo. that way we can see everyone in the picture. Maybe this pic wish is specific only to those who have young children.
