I keep forgetting to take a photo for our challenge! It's a bit harder than I thought and especially since your other photos are much better. I bet get practicing!
Here's one for our week. Emily helped me put out our Nativity sets. I love this one, especially since it's taken a few years to collect the pieces. Emily has a few she can play with also. I am glad she's learned that we celebrate more than just Santa. -Elisa

I've tried the picture-a-day challenge a few times in the past couple of years. I found it easiest if I took at least one picture early in the day. Many times I'd have something better later, but I didn't miss days that way. There are only so many options at 11pm--but I guess that can spur creativity.
I also like the challenge because it forces me to get to know my camera better as I play with settings to get pictures I like better.
Mostly, it helps me think of things differently. Although most pictures I take are either flat, blurry, off center, or something of the kind. Taking them helps me think about the beautiful things I see, the things that make me laugh, the details I want to remember, or just the things that make me happy. (and sometimes the ones that make me groan too, like girls unrolling toilet paper.)
