It's Been a Year Already!

This past year has, simply put, flown by. It's crazy for me to think that Christmas is almost two months away, which means only one more semester of school (at least for me). Lately I have been on this kick of wanting to decorate and be crafty but since I lack the time and money not much has happened. I am loving my floral design class and wouldn't mind owning a pair of pruners so that when I decide to scavenge plant material from the great out doors I don't ruin the only pair of scissors we have. A project I have wanted to work on is putting the empty pots Spencer made for my birthday two years ago up on top of the cupboards in the kitchen. I plan on draping ivy from them and to do that, need floral foam and the ivy. I would also like a pair of ear muffs, the type that wrap around your neck and come up to cover your ears.

I still enjoy my reading when I find the time. Since we have more room in this apartment we brought back my two boxes of books from Idaho Falls and I love the look of a full book shelf. A few books that I would love to add to my collection are Emily, and Brittney by Jack Weyland (two separate books) and Run Away Jury by John Grisham.

There are several CD I would like to own such as a John Schmidt album, Abba Gold album and the soundtrack to Riverdance . I also really love the music to the movie Transformer 2 but I really hated the movie and was so disappointed by it that I haven't been able to bring myself to buy it and support the industry.

A few movies I'd like to add to our family collection are Atlantis, A Bugs Life, Riverdance (with Michael Flatley) and The Phantom with Billy Zane.

So these are some of the smaller things on my wish list this year, aside from seeing and spending time with family and getting my wisdom teeth OUT (an appointment has been made!). I also hope to pass all of my classes with flying colors.

Do you riverdance? You have to listen to this episode of "This American Life". Episode #306 you can google it if the link doesn't work. So funny!

There is a link on the side that says "full episode" it will open a player so you can hear it.
